It is one of my favorite times as a mother myself. Having these photographs will bring you back to what it felt like having your child in your arms as you looked down on them with unconditional love.

Portraits of Motherhood
After you had your newborn photos captured, there are so many other milestones.
Breastfeeding is a time that lasts so briefly during the very beginning stages of motherhood. It is a moment of raw intimacy and nurturing love between a mother and her child.
I believe breastfeeding is something to be celebrated and honored. I love working with mothers to create portraits of themselves and their child or children. Whether it’s your first-born or the last baby you’ll be nursing.
In a world where time moves at a rapid pace, motherhood photos freeze a moment, allowing us to revisit and cherish it for years to come.
Why these sessions matter?
You don’t need a special occasion to deserve beautiful photographs of your family. You just need to decide that right now — this age, this stage, this version of your family — is worth remembering. My studio is a calm, private space where the only thing that matters is you and the people you love. No distracting backgrounds, no unpredictable weather, no rushing. Just natural light, simple backdrops, and real moments. Families who come in nervous leave with photographs they can’t stop looking at. That’s the whole point.

Sessions are 1 to 1.5 hours, which gives us plenty of time for multiple setups, outfit changes, and natural moments without anyone feeling rushed. Families with young children especially appreciate that we never race through the session — if we need a snack break or a few minutes to settle a little one, we take it.

The studio has a clean, minimalist aesthetic, so simple and neutral tones photograph beautifully — think whites, creams, blacks, greys, and soft earth tones. Avoid busy patterns or logos. I’m always happy to give feedback on specific looks before your session.

Yes! Milestone sessions are one of my favorites. Whether it’s a sitter session at 6–8 months, a standing session at 9–10 months, or a first birthday cake smash, the studio is the perfect setting to document each stage. Many families book a series of milestone sessions to create a beautiful record of their baby’s first year.

The all-inclusive package is designed for immediate family. If you’d like to include grandparents or extended family members, just let me know when you inquire and I’ll put together a custom quote for you.

Absolutely — and it’s one of my most requested and most meaningful types of sessions. Nursing portraits capture a bond that is fleeting and deeply personal. The studio provides a private, comfortable, and completely judgment-free space for these sessions. All bodies, all stages of motherhood are welcome.
